FLASHING FISHING LURES
SET YOUR PERSONAL FISHING RECORD WITH THE BITE LITE FLASHING FISHING LURE
By Ken Liebeskind
Yalesville, Connecticut
As an avid fisherman who angles for bass around the country, I'm always on the lookout for the best fishing lures, because the bass I'm trying to catch don't jump on the hook, they have to be lured. Spoons, plugs and jigs are traditional lures, which I've used many times. But this is the 21st century and leading manufacturers are developing innovative lures that have been scientifically designed to attract bass and other fish. I'm anxious to tell you how successful I've been with one new lure that I truly believe is the best fishing lure.
During my recent trip to Lake Kissimmee, one of Florida's best known lakes that holds several bass tournament records, I was hoping to set my own personal record, so I decided to use the Bite Lite, a new electronic flashing fishing lures from NGC Sports (http://www.scientificfishing.com) that uses a blinking light to create the appearance of live, bleeding prey. The tiny, battery-powered electrical system that flashes a blood-red light down the lure's tail when it's moved in water was the device I needed to land some trophy largemouth.

The Florida bass fishing record is 17 lbs. 4 1/4 oz and I didn't quite beat it, but thanks to the Bite Lite flashing fishing lure, I caught a half dozen large mouth bass, including one that weighed in at more than 12 lbs, a personal record I'm proud to hold.
After my experience at Kissimmee, I headed north to Ohio, where I was able to fish on Lake Erie, the Great Lake that spawns one of the world's largest freshwater fisheries, with yellow perch, rainbow trout and white bass swimming freely (at least until I arrived with my Bite Lite flashing fishing lure). I recorded another strong catch, including an 8 lb. small mouth bass that came close to an Ohio bass fishing record.
I've used Bite Lite in fresh water, but it also works in salt water, with lures in different colors for three water depths. The leader among all flashing fishing lures, it has been proven to catch three times as many fish as traditional lures, so I believe it's the best fishing lure.
Bite Lite is a flashing fishing lure that is available from NGC Sports, the fishing division of NGC Worldwide, a Connecticut company that uses scientific principles to develop flashing fishing lures and other lures that are more lifelike than traditional lures and proven to catch more fish. The company has won awards for its tournament tested lures and has sold millions of them, but not in stores.
