PEN ROD REALLY WORKS!

If you're a hard core fisherman like I am, you probably laughed at the idea of a pen rod. How can you catch a fish of any real size with a telescoping rod that clips into your shirt pocket like a fountain pen?
My initial reservations were curbed by my desire to fish anytime, anywhere, which is what the pen rod is all about. Since I don't take my fishing gear with me wherever I go, carrying a pen rod in my pocket actually makes sense. That way I could fish in the pond I pass on the way home from work or the river across town.
This Pen rod is light enough to handle, but strong enough to reel in the big fish.

As soon as the pen rod arrived I made sure everything was there: the rod, the high quality spinning wheel, the 120 yards of pre-installed test line, the Walking Worms and the handy carrying case. Once everything was set I headed out to the pond and started fishing. I didn't think I'd be able to cast the pen rod very far but the 42 inch rod and reel worked fine and within a few minutes I had my first bite, a nice largemouth bass I would be happy to catch with any rod and reel.
