RUBBER WORMS

RUBBER WORM LURES ADVANCED WITH
WALKING WORM

By Ken Liebeskind
Yalesville, Connecticut

If you fish for bass, there's a good chance you use rubber worm lures. They come in a variety of colors and scents, which attracts bass quickly. "The main difference with this bait is it causes a fairly instant reaction from the fish," one angler wrote. "They either attack it or get out of the way."

Rubber worms can be rigged on a bass-sized hook with no weight. You can use the Carolina rig, Texas rig, drop-shot or jighead. The rubber worm can be used anywhere, from shallow water with no weight to six to eight feet of water, where a drop shot is effective to deep water with the Carolina or Texas rig. The Rubber worm is available in a variety of sizes, with 6" to 7" best for largemouth bass and 4" for smallmouth bass.

The Walking Worm has constant curling
action that drives the fish crazy.

One fisherman who used the Walking Worm said, "It really mimics a live worm. It uses multiflex technology, which allows it to move on its own. The worm will actually start moving around in the water just as a live worm would. They work so well that they might be banned from fishing tournaments due to how effective they are. So if you are tired of using boring old rubber worms, give these a try!"

Another excited angler said, "The Walking Worm's genius is a multi-flex construction that traps air between tail segments. This causes the worm's tail to constantly curl, as if it were strolling across the bottom or through middle or top water."

The Walking Worm won a bass competition in Florida where 100 bass were caught in less than a day and it beat live bait three to one.

The Walking Worm takes the idea of the rubber worm to a new level. It modernizes the concept of the traditional rubber worms via patented technology that makes the worm move like a live worm. scientificfishing is a Connecticut company that specializes in scientifically designed lures that you can't find in stores.
