There are more soft fishing baits than you can shake a stick (or maybe a fishing line) at.
Advances in manufacturing techniques, plastic and silicone materials and the imagination of lure designers have led to the expansion in soft fishing baits, which creates quite the dilemma for anglers trying to decide which ones to use.
There are a variety of categories of soft fishing baits. Creature baits are plastic baits that can resemble all kinds of fantastic creatures, from the Berkley bulky hawg to the Don Iovino cow tongue to the Kingtail space monkey.

Among the models of frog soft fishing baits are the Bigbait fighting frog and the Kickerfish x plodin' toad.
Grubs are another form of soft fishing baits that have either a straight tail, split tail, beaver tail, single or double curly tail and come in various lengths.
Some of the other forms of soft fishing baits are soft jerk baits, stick baits and tube baits.
Of course, worms are the all time favorite soft fishing baits, with a variety of curly tail, finesse, straight tail and wacky worms available. The all-time favorite worm lure is the Walking Worm from www.scientificfishing.com. This is the lure that beat live worms, hard baits and other worm lures in tests because it moves so naturally. Patented technology that traps air between tail segments causes the lure to constantly curl like a live worm, which generates fast strikes from largemouth bass and other predators. John Fox, an international bass champs, uses the Walking Worm in tournaments and has caught 15 and 19 1/2 lb. monsters with it.
