When it comes to worms for fishing, there are different kinds of live worms and plastic worms and specific strategies for fishing them.

Similarly, plastic worms for fishing should be rigged, with the Texas rig the most popular style, followed by the Carolina rig. The Texas rig can be fished through weeds or grass at any depth you want. You rig your worm on the hook with the point of the hook pinned back into the body of the worm to make it weedless and a bullet weight is used on the line ahead of the hook.
