The Chug N' Spin Minnow is a stunningly-patterned 4 1/2 inch 'flat-header-perch'. This chiseled, buoyant body also happens to be hollowed out and has rattles inside the belly. These unique features, combined with the lure's spinner blade, which is perfectly-positioned in the back of the lure (right before the rear treble hook), results in what is a breakthrough design that delivers the action and performance of a plug... while simultaneously flashing brilliantly as it's chugged (on top-of) or (right-beneath) the water!

This lure has a catch rate that is much higher than conventional top water baits, because of the increased-visibility that is generated by its spinning blades. If the water is clear, the rapid flashing of the blades will send a signal that can be seen up to 25 feet away, under the water. If the water is murky, fish will actually be able to FIND the distressed meal that they could otherwise only HEAR - as it struggles and splashes along the water's surface. In medium to low-visibility water, the Chug N' Spin is 3-4 times MORE visible than regular top water baits. Whether the water is crystal clear or incredibly murky, it would be ill-advised to fish with any top water bait other than the Chug N' Spin!

Not surprisingly, sound is a critical part of why most top water baits (especially plugs) catch fish. The patterned splashing of a plug screams, "distressed meal on the water's surface!" to any medium - large fish in an area. Thus, if the SOUND created by a plug can be made louder or clearer, naturally, a given plug will catch MORE FISH. Well, that's exactly what we've done with this new lure. While it's being retrieved, metal balls inside of it rattle against each other. These high-frequency 'pings' penetrate even farther than the average little top water splash... so literally every large fish (with a huge radius of the lure) knows for sure that there is a distressed-top water meal nearby.
